We have been getting many of our golden retrievers’ hip certifications via PennHIP. We feel it is an effective way in determining if a golden may get genetic hip dysplasia and arthritis. Since all x-rays are recorded to their database, we feel it is a better way to rate our own goldens against the breed average. A video about PennHIP can be seen below.
